About JITC Hollywood Bureau

The Jewish Institute for Television & Cinema (JITC) Hollywood Bureau, launched in 2021, champions authentic and nuanced portrayals of Jews, Judaism, and Israel in the entertainment industry and challenges tropes and stereotypes in media. Our goal is to combat antisemitism by sharing stories of our people, history, culture, and traditions with global audiences and increase understanding and appreciation of Jewish contributions to the world. We partner with studios and creatives to offer consulting services, resources, and trainings; conduct leading research into Jewish representation; celebrate Jewish storytelling with the annual Jewish Media Awards; and engage with the entertainment community through panels, workshops, speaking engagements to promote inclusion of Jews in narrative change spaces.

Help us champion authentic and nuanced portrayals of Jews, Judaism, and Israel in the entertainment industry.
